Join the club, join our family!

We want everyone to be a part of the Bicycle Sport Shop family. As a result, we’re creating four new clubs for 2013— the Bicycle Sport Shop Road, Mountain, Triathlon, and Cyclocross Clubs— open to all riders of any ability, with the goal of growing the cycling community here in Central Texas.

How Does it Work?

The Bicycle Sport Shop Road, Mountain, Triathlon, and Cyclocross Clubs will be open to everyone, regardless of ability or interest in racing. Annual dues in the amount of $75 will earn each rider membership in the club of their choice (each additional club is just $1), as well as shop-branded gear: a club jersey or tri-top, a shop club t-shirt, and shop-branded Swiftwick socks. Moreover, those looking to race will be able to order Bicycle Sport Shop branded race kits at SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS from our official race clothing provider, Castelli Cycling.

Club Benefits

  • A free Bicycle Sport Shop Club Issue clothing package including a cycling jersey or triathlon jersey, a t-shirt and Swiftwick socks.
  • The ability to order additional Bicycle Sport Shop race kits, skin suits or triathlon kits at a significant discount at the beginning of every year or season, direct from Castelli.
  • Free access to Bicycle Sport Shop product clinics, skills clinics and training opportunities.
  • Free access to speaker events featuring experts or professionals from various genres, to be held two to four times per year.
  • Access to Bicycle Sport Shop hospitality tent for athletes and their families at various events, as determined by club captains.
  • Two 50% off rental coupons good for 50% off any rental product. (subject to availability)
  • One free 8-hour bike rental coupon. (subject to availability)
  • Quarterly dealer/vendor nights with discounts and an education component.
  • A certain number of race entry reimbursements based on the club’s budget and criteria established by the club’s captains.
  • Incredible benefits offered by our club sponsors.

Legacy Membership Program

In addition, all Club members can sign up to be a part of our Legacy Membership Program. As a Bicycle Sport Shop Cycling Club Legacy Member you will commit to:

  • Donating a minimum of 4 volunteer hours per month, to be tabulated on a quarterly basis.  The volunteer hours can consist of leading or sweeping weekly shop rides, helping with Women’s Ride Day or Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, helping with a Signature Cycling Series Ride, etc. These hours can be recorded through the Club portion of our website. Upon submission, we will receive your hours and keep them on record.
  • Enthusiastically promoting your sport and the Bicycle Sport Shop brand to other cyclists and to the community through social media.
  • A willingness to help riders that are newer to the sport.

In addition to all of the regular Club benefits, Legacy Members will receive:

  • 20% off all parts and accessories for the year.
  • An opportunity, after July 1, 2013, to be considered for a limited number of bike deals that will be offered to Club members who consistently demonstrate their commitment to the Club and to Bicycle Sport Shop through their volunteer efforts and willingness to help their fellow Club members.
