I started cycling several years ago after I moved to Austin and stopped playing softball at UT. I have done a bit of touring and road riding, but I love being on my mountain bike, trying to ride a wheelie for more than 5 feet.

Several Frankenbikes. The most recent addition to my stable is a 2012 Stumpjumper carbon hard tail that I run single speed, which is the closest thing to a stock build that I have.

I would consider my favorite cycling to be full suspension mountain biking. I love the combination of speed and control and the rush of pushing the limits off the road in a beautiful environment.

Probably my S-WORKS Specialized Helmet. I have one for the road and one for mountain biking. They are comfortable, safe and look good so I never have an excuse to ride without one.
