Women's Beginner Series

Coached Group Ride

Saturday, April 1, at 10 AM
Texas French Bread, 2900 Rio Grande St.
Please be mindful of parking in the neighborhood.

After completing Group Riding Skills Part 1 and 2, test all of your new skills in a controlled, casual group ride out on the open road!

Please arrive at 10:00 AM to sign waivers, unload your bike, put air in your tires and fill water bottles etc. The ride will start promptly at 10:30 AM and last approximately 1.5-2 hours. It will be an easy, no drop ride through neighborhoods with bike lanes and/or shoulders in low to moderate traffic.

Registration is limited to 20 people. Participants must be 16 years of age or older.

This event is shine-only. Please check our Facebook Event Page for weather updates. If the event is canceled due to inclement weather, we will post to Facebook by 8 AM. Please check before you leave the house.

Lunch: A delicious lunch will be provided from Texas French Bread.

Prerequisite: Riders must have completed both Group Riding Skills 1 and Group Riding Skills 2.

Fee: This event is $25 for those that have finished Group Riding Skills Part 1 and 2. On the registration form, be sure to fill in the circle saying that you registered for Skills 1 and 2. The form will then give you the option to add the group ride as well.

Required:

  • Helmet
  • Bike in good working order (Road, Mountain and Hybrid bikes all welcome)
  • Water and snacks
  • If you are interested in renting a bike, please contact our rental department  
    (Helmets are included with rental)
