Women's Beginner Series

Group Riding Skills Part 2

Saturday, March 25, at 10 AM

A continuation of our Skills Part 1 clinic where our goal is to get you more comfortable in group riding situations. You will participate in passing drills using verbal and nonverbal signals and get comfortable riding closely to others.

Please arrive at 10:00 AM to sign waivers, unload your bike, put air in your tires etc. The clinic will start promptly at 10:30 AM and last approximately 2 hours. This clinic will take place on a paved bike path without the worry of cars.

Registration is limited to 20 people. Participants must be 16 years of age or older.

This event is shine-only. Please check our Facebook Event Page for weather updates. If the event is canceled due to inclement weather, we will post to Facebook by 8 AM. Please check before you leave the house.

Prerequisite: Skills 1 or ability to demonstrate safe riding.

Fee: There is a $25 registration fee for the Skills Part 2 class in the Women's Beginner Series.

Required:

  • Helmet
  • Bike in good working order (Road, Mountain and Hybrid bikes all welcome)
  • Water and snacks
  • If you are interested in renting a bike, please contact our rental department  
    (Helmets are included with rental)
